We’ve all seen the stereotypical issues associated with poorly fitted dentures. If your replacement teeth flop around inside your mouth or even fall out when you’re least expecting, it can make life pretty difficult. Eating and talking become a challenge, and it all gets very tiring!

Not only this but when you’ve lost teeth, the jaw area that used to hold their roots will soon waste away—resulting in a prematurely aged appearance as your facial structure sags.

Thankfully, ill-fitting dentures aren’t so much of a problem these days. Advances in technology mean we’ll give you made-to-measure false teeth that are leagues above dentures of the past.

How Do Implanted Dentures Work?

Sometimes known as "clip-on dentures" or "implant-retained dentures", implanted dentures are anchored to your jawbone by titanium screws. These screws act as a replacement root and create a tight bond with the supporting bone.

The dentures look and feel the same above the surface of your gum line. You can take them out to clean and clip them back on when you’ve finished. The big difference is how secure these dentures feel in your mouth. This stability makes speaking, eating, and even smiling much easier.
